Aaron Wallace
Aaron Wallace has nearly 25 years of experience in the real estate and construction industry. He has owned and operated large real estate brokerages, built and developed single-family subdivisions, and managed significant real estate transactions. His background provides deep insight into the needs of construction and infrastructure clients — a driving reason why VigilanteX’s initial focus centers on this sector. Aaron currently serves as Chairman & CEO of the Wallace Group of Companies, which holds ownership interests in homebuilding, civil underground, concrete, and plumbing businesses.
Cody Gross
Cody Gross
Cody Gross brings over a decade of experience in renewable energy, technology integration, and large-scale operations. Beginning his career at SolarCity in 2010 (now part of Tesla Energy), Cody advanced rapidly through leadership roles and, by age 33, managed 6,000 employees, reporting directly to Elon Musk. His operational expertise and entrepreneurial drive led him to launch his own logistics company prior to co-founding VigilanteX. His leadership bridges advanced technology with field-ready execution.
Dave Cohen
Dave Cohen
David Cohen holds degrees in Real Estate and Accounting from Arizona State University. Shortly after graduating in 1989, he co-founded Hacienda Builders — an award-winning Scottsdale-based homebuilder recognized for quality craftsmanship and outstanding service. As Co-President, David oversaw the construction of over 5,000 homes and more than $900 million in residential transactions. In 2008, he co-founded Encanta Homes, a custom homebuilding firm where he continues to serve as Co-President. With over 30 years in real estate, construction, and mortgage industries, David also holds an Arizona Broker License and serves on the Board of Governors for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale.

Mr. Marchant is the Chairman of BFM Seaward LLC. He also is a member of the Board of Advisors for Reversal Therapeutics, Inc. He serves Caldwell Partners as an Executive Advisor to the Board and CEO Practice.
Prior to his current leadership roles, Mr. Marchant served as CEO of the Naval Academy Alumni Association and Foundation for over 13 years. Prior to his Navy Academy leadership, Mr. Marchant served as EVP, CAO and General Counsel of Black Entertainment Television for over a decade and was a Partner at Patton Boggs law firm in DC. He was in the submarine service before transferring to the Naval Reserves in 1984, where he fulfilled numerous assignments in the Naval Reserves Intelligence program and attained the rank of Commander in the Naval Reserves.
Mr. Marchant is a life member of the US Naval Academy Alumni Association, and a trustee of the Naval Academy Athletics and Scholarship Foundation. He is a member of the Alumni Association of the University of Virginia and UVA Law School. He serves as Chairman of the Development Committee of the Naval War College Foundation Board and is a member of the Board of the Baltimore Gas and Electric. He also serves on the Board of the National Sailing Hall of Fame and Museum, the Leadership Council of the Environmental Law Institute, the Chesapeake Bay Foundation Board, and the Baltimore Community Foundation Board.
Mr. Marchant holds a BS Degree from the US Naval Academy and earned his JD from the University of Virginia School of Law.

Mr. Carroll began his professional career in 1992, serving 12 years in the United States Marine Corps and attaining the rank of Major. As a designated Naval Aviator in both fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft, he served in numerous aviation command and staff billets worldwide, including combat mission support in the Middle East and Far East. His roles included MAWTS-1 CH-53E Weapons and Tactics Instructor, Squadron Operations Officer, Squadron Maintenance Officer, Aide de Camp to the Commanding General (COMCABWEST), Battalion/MEU Air Officer, Operations Officer, Instructor Pilot for a VIP transport squadron, and Test and Acceptance Pilot for the USMC Citation Jet program.
Following his military service, Matt spent 12 years with Fluor Corporation in Washington, DC, one of the world’s largest publicly traded engineering, procurement, construction, maintenance, and project management firms. He initially led business development for a complex $2B portfolio of U.S. Government programs with significant contracts in Iraq, Afghanistan, Africa, and the United States. He later transitioned into Program Management, Strategy, and M&A roles within Fluor’s Government division. As Vice President, Matt was selected to build and lead Fluor’s Secure Services division, providing services worldwide to the U.S. Intelligence Community and growing the business from inception to over $100M annually, including multiple acquisitions.
In 2016, Matt became CEO of Pratt Miller Engineering (PME), headquartered in New Hudson, Michigan. For more than 30 years, PME has leveraged the world’s premier racetracks as technology proving grounds, developing leading race programs including Corvette Racing, the most successful team in American Le Mans Series history. Under Matt’s leadership, PME has evolved into a world-class, full-service engineering and low-volume manufacturing company with over 400 employees, serving global customers across the Defense, Mobility, and Motorsports industries. In 2021, Matt led PME through its acquisition by Oshkosh Corporation, and the company now operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Oshkosh Defense.
Matt holds a B.A. from Roger Williams University and an M.S. in Global Leadership from the University of San Diego. He has also completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School and Thunderbird School of Global Management. He currently serves on several boards, including Pratt Miller, the Marines’ Memorial Association Board of Directors, and Dephy, Inc.

Lori Reynolds retired as a Lieutenant General after a 35-year career in the United States Marine Corps. Her service culminated as the Deputy Commandant for Information, a newly established role that recognized the growing importance of information, cyberspace, and digital technologies—and the new warfighting domains of space and cyberspace.
During her career, she commanded Marines at every rank, including combat formations in Iraq and Afghanistan. As a General Officer, she oversaw the Marine Corps’ entire East Coast recruiting enterprise and the training of 20,000 new Marines annually at Parris Island. This billet demanded the design and sustainment of one of the nation’s most critical talent pipelines—skills directly relevant to any organization facing workforce, culture, and performance challenges. She later commanded Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command, where she completed the build of the Corps’ newest warfighting component and led its first-ever cyber effects operations in support of the Joint Force.
As the Deputy Commandant for Information, Reynolds was responsible for all IT, intelligence, cyberspace, space, and influence personnel and capability development for the Marine Corps. She led the team that created the Marine Corps’ newest warfighting function of Information, built the cyberspace occupational field, and initiated the creation of a new Marine component for U.S. Space Command.
For eight years, Reynolds sat on the Marine Corps Corporate Board, responsible for collaboratively planning $50B annually to support global missions and capability development. Her executive responsibilities also included serving as the Deputy Department of the Navy Chief Information Officer for the Marine Corps, Director of Cybersecurity, and Director of Intelligence.
She earned a BS in Political Science from the United States Naval Academy, an MS from the Navy War College, and an MS from the Army War College. She has volunteered as Chairperson of the Board for the Sea Services Leadership Association and is a longtime member of the Armed Forces Communication and Electronics Association. She was the inaugural recipient of the Admiral Grace Hopper Award at the National Defense University’s College of Information and Cyberspace.
Since retiring in 2021, Reynolds has served on the Board of Directors of U.S. Bancorp, the Board of Trustees of the American Public University System, the Board of Trustees of the Naval Academy Athletic & Scholarship Program, the Board of Visitors of Marine Corps University, and the Board of Directors of the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation. She also serves as an advisory board member to VigilanteX, a technology startup focused on national security innovation. She previously served as Department of the Navy CIO Information Co-Chair at the Naval Postgraduate School and as a Visiting Professor at the University of Maryland’s Applied Research Lab for Intelligence and Security.

Darryl Smith is an entrepreneur, private equity investor and advisor. He currently serves as Operating Partner, for Windage Partners, a Dallas-based private equity fund focused on acquiring middle market aerospace and defense companies. He is also an Executive Advisor to Marlinspike Fund I, an equity growth fund that invests in dual use technologies and 3Q Partners, a private equity investment company. He was the President of Global Portfolio Operations for Skyview Capital, a Los Angeles-based global private equity firm. Mr. Smith’s team led deal due diligence, new acquisition transition and portfolio company monitoring. While at Skyview, Darryl’s team completed several platform and bolt-on acquisitions. He established and implemented several acquisition and portfolio company management strategies and playbooks.
Prior to joining Skyview, Darryl was a Managing Partner at CrimStone Partners, a private equity fund focused on acquiring and growing middle-market manufacturing and business services companies. Darryl was also the Chairman of Cimcon Finishing, a Garland, TX based metal finishing business. Cimcon provides powder coating and platting services to several aerospace, defense and industrial customers. Darryl is the former CEO of Premier Logitech, a Dallas-based value-added logistics and technology service provider. Under Darryl’s leadership, Premier’s revenues increased over 10-fold.
Prior to Premier, Mr. Smith was a Vice President at Platinum Equity, a Los Angeles, CA private equity firm. While at Platinum, Darryl led operational due diligence, new company turn-around and portfolio company monitoring activities. He has developed and implemented market strategies, launched and monitored performance improvement initiatives. Most notably, he played a major role in the acquisition, carve-out and turnaround of Hays logistics, a $1.5 billion Pan-European third- party logistics company.
Prior to joining Platinum, Darryl managed client engagements at Accenture, the global consulting and technology services firm. As a consultant, Mr. Smith advised senior executives on a broad range of strategic and supply chain management issues. His focus areas included strategic sourcing, distribution network optimization and economic value-add analysis. Darryl led numerous initiatives including strategy formulation, process re-engineering and organization design. He redesigned The Gap retailer’s distribution network, earning the client’s “1999 Project of the Year” award.
Darryl served his country as a Captain in the U. S. Marine Corps. He served during DESERT STORM and was awarded two Navy-Marine Corps Commendation Medals for superior service.
Darryl earned a B.S. in Economics from the U. S. Naval Academy and has an MBA from the Wharton School. He was Brigade Boxing Champion in his weight class at Annapolis and won eastern and national college boxing honors.
Darryl is the Chairman of the Board of Advisors for the Dallas Salvation Army. He is a Trustee for both the US Naval Academy Alumni Association and US Naval Academy Athletic and Scholarship Programs. He also serves as an Independent Director of the USA Boxing Board and Trustee of the USA Boxing Foundation Board. Darryl enjoys spending time with his family, working out and reading.

Michael Jesberger is the founder of TerraWest communities, a Phoenix based real estate development company and is a 35-year veteran in the real estate industry. Prior to launching TerraWest in 2009, Mike was a Partner and EVP for Element Homes and previously held various leadership positions for Pulte Homes and Del Webb Corporation.

Jerome Snyder is a seasoned legal, financial, and policy leader who brings decades of strategic experience to the VigilanteX board. A proud Nevadan since 1964 with roots in Los Angeles, he holds a business degree from UCLA, a Juris Doctor from UC Berkeley, and a master’s degree in Tax Law from the University of San Diego. His background reflects deep fluency at the intersection of law, capital, and regulation, positioning him as a trusted advisor in complex, highly regulated environments.
Throughout his career, Jerome has served in influential government-adjacent roles, including Honorary Consul to the United Kingdom, contributor to Senator Harry Reid’s Hi-Tech Work Group, and advisor to Nevada Governor Jim Gibbons’ Sage Commission. His professional work spans real estate development, gaming, healthcare, banking, finance, and telecommunications, where he has consistently guided organizations through growth, compliance, and strategic decision-making. At VigilanteX, Jerome provides institutional insight and governance perspective as the company scales across regulated and infrastructure-critical markets.

Mr. Taylor is a C-level executive, advisor, and experienced public and private company
director, having served on over 15 boards, combining deep financial expertise, strategy, and
governance to deliver thoughtful questions and insights that help drive informed decisions.
Having worked and advised in public, private and family-owned businesses across a variety
of industries, he is able to draw upon a wide range of experiences which enables him to
collaborate effectively and engage with fellow board members and senior management.
Over the last 25 years, he has served on the boards and committees of multiple companies,
both public and private, in a variety of industries and sectors. Lawrence is an SEC qualified
financial expert, chairs an audit committee and is a frequent panelist and article contributor
on board governance and board related matters.
With more than 30 years of business experience, he has guided organizations through
complex restructurings, acquisitions, corporate development activities and capital
transactions totaling over $20 billion. His experience spans start-ups to private companies
to publicly traded companies and includes diverse companies and industries – such as
Grand Casinos, Mesaba Airlines, Mercedes Homes, Zounds Hearing and Odyssey Capital
Group. He possesses an extensive knowledge of finance, strategy and operations and has
developed strategic, financial, operating and turnaround strategies across multiple
industries including casino gaming, hospitality, manufacturing, aviation, real estate, retail,
and healthcare. Lawrence has been elected to the boards of five distressed companies as an
independent director to help advise and guide the board through restructuring alternatives,
including Chapter 11.
He is President of Taylor Strategy Group advising companies on strategy, finance and board
governance matters. Additionally, he is an Executive-in-Residence for the MBA program at
Arizona State University W.P. Carey School of Business and is a volunteer gallery guide at
the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix, AZ.
Lawrence is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree
in Finance. A native of New Orleans, he is an avid cook, woodturner, hiker, tennis player and
golfer and resides in Litchfield Park, AZ.
