VigilanteX is proud to share that LtGen (ret.) Brian Cavanaugh, Chief Executive Officer of VigilanteX, has been appointed to the Military Bowl Foundation Board of Directors. The appointment was announced by the Foundation on March 26, 2026.
The Military Bowl Foundation is a nonprofit organization that supports service members and their families through premier events and related initiatives, including the Military Bowl, the DC Touchdown Club, and Patriot Point.
Brian brings more than 34 years of senior military leadership experience to the Foundation. His distinguished career in the U.S. Marine Corps included four Pentagon tours, aviation command at every level, and concluded in 2024 when he retired as the Commanding General of Fleet Marine Forces Atlantic, where he led one-third of all Marine operating forces.
Today, Brian leads VigilanteX as CEO, where he helps drive the company’s mission to bring advanced robotics, artificial intelligence, edge computing, and intelligence into the physical world through American-manufactured field systems. The Military Bowl Foundation highlighted his experience as both a technology executive and senior national security advisor, as well as his leadership in an emerging growth manufacturing and technology company.
In announcing the appointment, Military Bowl Foundation President & Executive Director Steve Beck noted that Brian’s leadership in both military service and business will strengthen the organization’s mission to support the men and women who serve our country.
Brian also shared his enthusiasm for the opportunity, describing it as a meaningful way to continue serving and raising awareness for service members and their families through an organization dedicated to honoring them.
This appointment reflects the kind of leadership VigilanteX values deeply: mission-driven, service-oriented, and committed to building meaningful impact beyond business alone.
We are proud to see Brian recognized by the Military Bowl Foundation and look forward to the contributions he will make in this important role.
